Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your KitchenAid attachments.

  • Always unplug the stand mixer before cleaning.
  • All parts of the Food Grinder, Fruit & Vegetable Strainer, and Rotor Slicer & Shredder should be hand washed with warm, soapy water.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and rust, especially on metal components like the grinding plates and slicer/shredder cones.
  • Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher, as this can damage the finish and functionality.
  • Store attachments in a dry place when not in use.

መላ መፈለግ

If you encounter issues with your KitchenAid attachments, consider the following common solutions:

  • Attachment not fitting securely: Ensure the attachment knob is fully loosened and the attachment shaft is correctly aligned with the square drive socket in the power hub.
  • ምግብ በብቃት የማይሰራ; Verify that the mixer is set to the recommended speed (typically Speed 4). Ensure ingredients are cut into appropriate sizes and are not too hard or fibrous for the specific attachment.
  • Food Grinder jamming: This can occur if ingredients are too large, too hard, or if too much pressure is applied with the food pusher. Reduce ingredient size and feed slowly.
  • Slicer/Shredder producing uneven results: Check that the cone is correctly inserted and secured. Ensure ingredients are firm enough to be sliced or shredded cleanly.
  • Fruit & Vegetable Strainer clogging: Pre-cook or soften ingredients as much as possible. Avoid overfilling the hopper and clean the screen if necessary.

If problems persist, refer to the full KitchenAid Stand Mixer user manual or contact KitchenAid customer support.
