5.2 Baby Facing-In Position
Suitable from approximately 4.5 months (when the baby can hold their head up unassisted) up to 3 years. This position promotes bonding and allows the baby to feel secure.
- Adjust the carrier to the higher height position.
- Ensure the baby's legs are in a wide "M" shape, with knees higher than their bottom, supporting healthy hip development.
- The head support can be folded down if the baby prefers, or kept up for sleeping.

5.3 Baby Facing-Out Position
Suitable from approximately 5 months (when the baby has good head and neck control) up to 3 years. This position allows the baby to explore their surroundings.
- Only use this position when your child can hold their head up unassisted and is curious about the world.
- Ensure the head support is folded down.
- Monitor your child for overstimulation and switch to facing-in if they become fussy or tired.
5.4 Back Carrying Position
Suitable from approximately 12 months (when the child can sit unassisted) up to 3 years. This position is ideal for longer periods of carrying and for older, heavier children.
- Practice this position carefully, ideally with assistance, until you are comfortable.
- Ensure the child is securely seated and all buckles are fastened before moving them to your back.
- Always check that your child is comfortable and their airway is clear.
