4. To turn off the thermometer, press the አብራ/አጥፋ button again. The device will also automatically power off after approximately 10 minutes of inactivity.

The Tanita TT-583 GR has an IPX2 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dripping water. To clean the thermometer:
