  • How do I calibrate the Apollo PEX crimp tool?

    To adjust the crimp force, open the handle and loosen the nut on the adjustment screw. Push and rotate the screw (increase the number for more force, decrease for less), then tighten the nut back into place.

  • How do I use the Go/No-Go gauge?

    After crimping, slide the gauge over the crimp ring. If the ring fits into the 'Go' slot but stops, the crimp is good. If it goes all the way in or doesn't fit at all, the tool needs adjustment.

  • What types of fittings work with Apollo PEX?

    Apollo PEX systems are generally compatible with brass and poly-alloy barb fittings using copper crimp rings or stainless steel pinch clamps, as well as PEX-a expansion fittings where applicable.
