This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your PHILIPS 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with LatteGo (Model EP3246/74). Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain this manual for future reference.

2. ጠቃሚ የደህንነት መረጃ
የኤሌክትሪክ ዕቃዎችን በሚጠቀሙበት ጊዜ ሁል ጊዜ መሰረታዊ የደህንነት ጥንቃቄዎችን ይከተሉ የእሳት አደጋ፣ የኤሌክትሪክ ንዝረት እና/ወይም በሰዎች ላይ የሚደርስ ጉዳት። ይህ መሳሪያ ለቤት አገልግሎት ብቻ የታሰበ ነው።

3. ማዋቀር

- Wash the LatteGo milk carafe, drip tray, and coffee grounds container with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.2 የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያውን መሙላት
- Pull the water tank out from the right side of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh tap water up to the MAX indication.

- Open the coffee bean hopper lid on top of the machine.
- Pour fresh coffee beans into the hopper. Ensure the lid is closed properly after filling to maintain bean freshness.

3.4 Attaching the LatteGo System
- Fill the LatteGo carafe with milk up to the desired level.
- Attach the LatteGo carafe to the machine by hooking it onto the spout on the left side.

4.1 Turning On the Machine
Press the power button on the control panel to turn on the machine. The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle.
4.2 Selecting a Drink
The control panel offers various drink options. Simply tap the icon for your desired beverage:
- ኤስፕሬሶ For a concentrated coffee shot.
- ቡና፡ For a standard black coffee.
- አሜሪካኖ፡ Espresso diluted with hot water.
- ካፑቺኖ፡ Espresso with frothed milk and a layer of foam.
- ላቲ ማኪያቶ፡ Layered drink with milk, espresso, and foam.
- ሙቅ ውሃ; ለሻይ ወይም ለሌሎች ትኩስ መጠጦች።

4.3 Customizing Your Drink
After selecting a drink, you can customize its settings using the "My Coffee Choice" icons:
- የቡና ጥንካሬ; Adjust the intensity of your coffee (e.g., mild, medium, strong).
- የቡና መጠን; Change the amount of coffee dispensed.
- Milk Volume: For milk-based drinks, adjust the amount of frothed milk.
4.4 Dispensing Your Drink
- Place your cup under the dispensing spout. Adjust the spout height to fit your cup size.
- For milk-based drinks, ensure the LatteGo carafe is correctly attached and the milk spout is positioned over your cup.
- Press the Play/Start button to begin brewing.

5. ጥገና

5.1 ዕለታዊ ጽዳት
- LatteGo ስርዓት፡- After each milk-based drink, detach the LatteGo carafe and rinse it under running water. It is dishwasher-safe.

5.3 Descaling and AquaClean Filter
The machine will prompt you when descaling is required. Use only Philips descaling solution. The AquaClean filter reduces the need for descaling. Replace the filter when prompted by the machine.
- Up to 5000 cups without descaling thanks to AquaClean filter.
