Keyboard`Review 1. This lesson is intended to review many of the keys that you learned in our previous workbook (Level 3). 2. Just like before, try to type this entire page as accurately as possible. 3. Follow these rules while you type: · Don’t rush. The goal here is to make no mistakes. · Don’t look at your hands while you type. You can refer to the guides at the top of the page if you need help. · Don’t correct any errors while you type. 4. Key`Introduction
1. This lesson will teach you how to type the ___ key. [Caps`Lock]
2. Let’s begin by placing your hands on the illustrated keyboard found in the middle of the page.
3. While typing, your fingers should always rest on the 8 outlined keys that make up the home row.
4. Your right thumb will rest on the large space bar found on the bottom of the keyboard. You will never use your left thumb while typing.
5. What color is the ___ key? [Caps`Lock]
6. Look for this same color on the hand illustrations at the top of the page. [orange]
7. This guide shows you that your ___ finger will always be used when typing this key. [left`pinky]
8. Using the illustrated keyboard, type the keys found at the bottom of the page. Repeat this pattern until you feel comfortable with this movement. [A“Caps`Lock]
9. Next, let’s progress to a real keyboard.
10. Place your fingers on the home row. You will know that your hands are in the correct position if you feel a bump under both of your index fingers.
11. When you are ready, repeat the same key pattern from before. Do not rush this exercise; the goal is to be as accurate as possible. [A“Caps`Lock]
12. With a pencil, now write in all of the keys that you previously learned on the illustrated keyboard.

the boxes provided labeled “Original Timing”. 4. In order to warm up your fingers, please type the entire passage at a
